The blurb from Goodreads: Savannah Colbert has been shunned all her life by the kids of the Clann. And when she undergoes some drastic changes after a strange illness, Savannah learns secrets about the group and about herself—dangerous secrets. For the Clann are powerful magic users, and Savannah herself is half Clann and half vampire—a forbidden, unheard of combination. Falling for Clann golden boy Tristan Coleman isn't just a bad idea—it could be deadly if anyone finds out. But her attraction to Tristan—and his to her—isn't something either of them can resist for long.

The Review: "Well, same here," he growled. "It doesn't matter what you are. Don't you have any idea how much I love you? How much I've always loved you? And I always will. no matter who or what you come from. So what if you take some of my energy when we kiss? Don't you get it? It's worth it to me, just to be with you."

Wow. Ok. I struggled with this book. It's taken me almost 2 weeks to finish. Firstly because I've been lazy and not in a reading mood. Secondly, I really wasn't sure about this book. I'm still not sure how I feel about it. I sort of liked it... but I sort of didn't. My interest sort of piqued towards the end of the book which was about 90% the way through. But through out most of it, I just found it a little dull, and slightly predictable. It reminded me a lot of other books I'd read, but I perservered and managed to finish it off.

Ok so, I didn't really like Savannah to begin with. It wasn't until the end of the book that I started to feel she was taking more control of herself rather than just taking all the crap and not giving any back; like she had been from the beginning. She became a little stronger and little wiser towards the end when she went through her tests. I didn't like her father either...to start. But then, he redeemed himself (again at the end of the book)and I understood why he was the way he was. Tristan, I liked; almost from the beginning I liked Tristan. The book is split between his POV and Savannah's, and I found myself enjoying Tristan's side a lot more than Savannahs side. Tristan is a sweet, caring boy. He's not the typical arrogant bad boy you find in most YA novels.

The plot itself was good, but quite predictable in places, and a lot of Savannah's inner monologue just droned on for a while and it got...boring.

Anyway, Crave was just an OK book for me. If you want a book where everything exciting happens towards the end then it's for you. Overall it was just OK, I am intrigued enough to read the second one, but I probably won't rush for it.

Thank you Harlequinn and Netgalley for allowing me to review this.

I like the quote that you included but now I am sad to know that this one is so slow and that the action doesn't happen until the end. Sigh...Thanks for the great review though :)

You're right it was a pretty ok book but I really enjoyed reading it because I was looking for something light.I also liked Tristian's POV (very few books from multiple POV's)
Great review!
